Using Temp Numbers for Google Account Verification
Google requires phone verification when creating new accounts or when suspicious activity is detected. A temporary phone number for Google verification lets you complete this step without exposing your real number to Google's data systems.
Google Verification Tips
- US numbers (+1) are accepted most reliably by Google
- Don't use the same number for multiple Google accounts in rapid succession
- If Google rejects a number, wait a few minutes and try a different one
- Google codes are 6 digits and expire in 10 minutes
